  1. Carpe Diem-

    April 18, 2011 by demitinay

This phrase is often used by most of the people I know to the point of it becoming overused from my perspective. But there’s no denying that it’s resonance in almost everything that is part of history has a very good point.

Death cannot be predicted nor escaped. Everyone dies at some point. You never know how and you’ll never get a warning when. Hence, “Carpe Diem” the latin phrase for “seize the day”, emphasizes always and again that we have to live life to it’s fullest. It may seem that a day is unimportant especially if it feels uneventful and well…just another day. Have you ever considered the possibility that in the next minute or second, death awaits you and suddenly you’re filled with regrets?

Death chooses neither age, time, nor place. Everyone is fair game and we should learn to value each and every moment. This is brought to you by death.. or the barcode scanners product.

  2. Old dog learning New tricks

There are artists who are considered as legends because their careers have surpassed the given life span that most get in the industry of music. But names like Madonna, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey continue to resonate today. The only sad thing is that most of them try to adapt to what’s “in” in the music industry today and have completely shaken off the trademark songs they’ve made famous and made them legends in turn.

Take for example Mariah’s newest songs and albums. Most of us has just been used to the old songs she used to sing and most loved and identified her with those. But changing into a new style to adapt with the times simply didn’t suit her. Whitney Houston as well seemed to be taking the same route. Although no one can deny that the change in style for Madonna certainly suited her fairly well.

  3. Social Media -

Have you read the latest tweet of your favorite artist?

The latest trend today is social media and everyone’s just loving it. Who would want to read lengthy blogs nowadays when you can tweet or post on your facebook wall what you’re currently thinking about or feeling? Okay, maybe a lot still, especially if you want to know about something in much more detail. But there’s no denying that keeping up with your favorite actors/actresses/singers is made faster and much easier via social media.

And that’s not all. Streaming live news and other important entities even within your rv travel emergency are now joining the hype and reading the latest news within the past few minutes helps keep the public informed. It’s amazing what technology can do and how closer it keeps people who are miles apart.
