  1. Picture Blogging-

    July 25, 2011 by demitinay

Pictures sometimes express feelings better than words. And I guess, this is the reason why more people would prefer so. And there’s actually an avenue for that; Tumblr. If you love photo blogging that can be used in invitations or something similar, check out www.floristexpress.net.

I’ve met and know more than a fair share of persons who aren’t really enthusiastic about expressing thoughts through words. Hence the reason why they really don’t own blogs and mainly just read.

Being able to express thoughts or blog with a picture or simply reblog/repost another picture that is able to convey their thoughts is much easier. This is why most of the people I know own Tumblr accounts and are actually very active with that sort of blogging.

Apart from not needing to type words down to “blog”, they also don’t need to have unique/original content to do so.

  2. Am I Employed?-

    July 14, 2011 by demitinay

We live in a day and age where you can literally work from home without any buy sell agreements. Because of the internet, being employed really doesn’t have to mean leaving your home. If this is the case, then can you really consider yourself employed?

The definition of being employed is working somewhere with a fix salary, at a fixed amount of time, and you get some benefits and perks as well. You rarely get any vacation and you have to travel to your workplace in a pre-determined schedule.

If you experience all these minus the benefits and perks and leaving home, are you employed?

The older generation most probably will say no but as part of the younger generation, I think the answer is a resounding yes.

  3. Being Blinded By Fame -

    July 9, 2011 by demitinay

The problem with people who happens to experience the limelight is that they failed to realize that they must not change after all. Wherever they came from must be the same place where they should be despite the fame that they have experienced. Now, for those who have been blinded by fame, they always end up being hated.

This fame is just like a fly. It will stay there for a while, but not for long. When you enjoy it, it will just be there collecting custom coins. Yet, the moment you become another person because of what it brings you, expect that things will really change. The more you are exposed to fame, the more are your reasons to be humble and stay grounded. You must be an inspiration to others now that you have the power to do so. If you fail on this part, you cannot expect these people to appreciate you for so long. Yes, being blinded by fame will never be of help to your success.

  4. Confidence Really Matters -

    July 8, 2011 by demitinay

There are a lot of instances when you feel like you cannot do anything. However, when you feel like it is really impossible to achieve, all you have to do is to remember that confidence really matters! Take note that when you know you are confident to do things, it will be easier for you to do them. If you also know that you have what it takes to do what you are ought to do, and then it is not impossible to achieve them.

Sometimes, we have this feeling that we can’t do something because we are afraid to try it out. Like buy kia custom floor mats. Yet, if we want to step the game up, it will always end up with reality. This is why you have to be confident in all instances. Be it in your class or when you apply for a job or even facing other people, confidence really matters. Most of all, if you are confident of yourself, it simply shows how you trust the people around you as well.

  6. Flood in Davao

    July 3, 2011 by demitinay

Davao City is in Mindanao and it’s a region that gets to experience typhoons. But never as strong as the ones that affect the region of Luzon who is within the typhoon belt.

Rains fall and areas become flooded. How heavy the rain fell and how flooded the areas became during the typhoon that struck Davao however was something that they have never experienced. Thus, they weren’t really prepared for the worst to come.

Now that the tragedy has passed, many have lost the possessions they’ve worked hard to have and worst, they have lost the ones they love.

I mourn with those who have lost all and I hope and pray that they eventually get to pick up what’s left of what they have. Everyone should pitch in a hand to help, even in the smallest gestures make a big difference.

  7. Struggle

    June 22, 2011 by demitinay

Life is one big struggle. Whoever says otherwise is wrong or just haven’t lived.

For every little thing you do, you have to make a decision. Life is full of problems simply waiting to be solved. You may already know this but it’s something that simply needs to be said over and over again.

When you wake up, you struggle to decide what to eat or whether to eat breakfast at all. Waking up in the first place is already a struggle in itself because you have to decide whether you want to wake up or to continue sleeping.

There are a lot of choices to be made. To live is to struggle.

  8. Curiosity Killed the Cat

    June 13, 2011 by demitinay

There are just some things in this lifetime that are better left in the dark. Can we really help it though?

People say that curiosity killed the cat but cats have nine lives. I take this expression to mean that curiosity has killed the cat over and over again and it never died. We never really learn when not to sate our curiosity when we’re really better off not knowing.

Today I got curious why they would ever produce a part 2 of the Hangover movie. I was curious how it would turn out so I watched it. And let me tell you that I could have gone on life better without having watched the film.

Some things are just too much for us to know. And it could be some secret that could either save or condemn the world.

  9. Easy as Speech

    June 10, 2011 by demitinay

Haven’t you ever wondered why school never taught us how to speak?

I mean yes, we were taught words. How to communicate. How to use them. But we were never really taught how to effectively use words to express our thoughts clearly and eloquently.

You may contradict my statement but it’s true. The first thing we learn as a child is how to speak yet even in school no one teaches us how to think correctly.

I’m sure that many of you contradict yourself most of the time. Personally I envy those who can organize their thoughts eloquently. I only wished that school also taught us how to think and communicate clearly.

  10. People from Fish Kill Towns-

    June 3, 2011 by demitinay

I couldn’t help but feel bad for the people living around the area where the massive amount of fish carcasses are, sayang yung home speakers.

Apart from the fact that fishing industry in the area has been greatly affected, the people living around it have to suffer with the smell. Reportedly, the smell of dead fish could cause several health discomforts. It could trigger asthma and could cause skin itching.

Although there is the option of evacuation, I doubt that many of them will have somewhere else to go. It looked like most of the residents around the area have lived there all their lives.

I can only hope and pray that things will get better.
