    Anyway, she is apparently is the love interest of the next Captain Barbell.. paired with Richard Gutierrez.

  2. Carla Abellana Rumored Cast of Encantadia Second Saga

    GMA is also bringing back one of its strongest fantaserye in the past–Encantadia.

    In the teaser released by GMA in theaters on Christmas Day and during the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival run, another sequel of Encantadia is set for 2010 and it has a tentative title Encantadia: Isang Bagong Mundo.

    But according to reports, GMA is eyeing for Rhian Ramos, Carla Abellana, Jennylyn Mercado and Jackie Rice for the ’sanggre’ roles. Iza Calzado (the original Amihan) or Claudine Barretto will play the role of Ynang Reyna.

  3. Carla Abellana Top 6 desired leading men

    In an interview with the Carla Abellana, PEP asked who would be the top five actors, except for Rosalinda co-actor Geoff Eigenmann, who she wishes to be her leading man either in movies or TV series.

    “Hmmm, anim e. Siguro sina Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Dennis Trillo, Jake Cuenca, JC De Vera and si Mark Anthony Fernandez.”

    Popular showbiz newcomer Carla Abellana named six actors who she would like to be paired with, the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) reported.

  6. Carla Abellana’s “Rosalinda” Ended Tonight

    Yep, I just watched the last episode of Rosalinda, the first project of Carla Abellana in GMA 7.

    Honestly, I was not able to watch more than 10 episode of Rosalinda during their couple of months of airing primetime (heck not even Darna for that matter). But I heard from the internet that the ratings of Rosalinda is not at all that bad. Although we are not saying that it’s good neither.

    Anyway, we’ll be seeing more or we are seeing Carla Abellana in her new show in GMA 7. She is one of the co-star of the new season of GMA 7′s artista search reality show, Startstruck, now on it’s fifthe season.

  7. Carla Abellana as co-host Starstruck V

    STARSTRUCK V. Ano ang nararamdaman niya sa pagiging host niya ng StarStruck V?

    “Excited na ako. Gusto ko na silang [contestants] makilala isa-isa. I’m very much looking forward to getting to know everyone better. Good luck to all of us.”

    Excited na rin ba siya to work with her co-hosts na sina Dennis at Raymond Gutierrez?

    “Oo naman,” sagot ni Carla. “Kinakabahan na nga rin si Dennis, e. At least meron na akong karamay na baguhan din sa hosting. Excited na ako and I’m very much looking forward to work with him. Basta gagawin namin ang best namin.

    “Si Raymond naman, unfortunately, hindi yata kami magkakatrabaho kasi kami ni Dennis, we’re live every Sunday. Si Raymond kasi every Saturday. Pero sana magkaroon din ng chance na magkasama kami.”

    Handa na ba siyang ma-link kay Dennis?

    “I’m sure I will be linked to him kasi magkasama nga kami. Okay lang, wala naman akong magagawa doon, e. Basta kami ni Dennis, magtatrabaho lang kami nang maayos.”

    Ipinagtanggol naman ni Carla ang sarili niya sa isyu na sinasabing siya ang dahilan ng pagkakatanggal ni Jolina Magdangal bilang host ng StarStruck V.

    “Hindi naman ako. I found out lang na I was hosting StarStruck straight from management na. And wala naman sinabing reason why they chose me. Hindi ko naman talaga alam kung bakit, e. And I don’t believe I was the reason kung ba’t siya natanggal. And like what I’ve said before, management is the best to explain and answer that question,” paliwanag niya.

  8. Carla Abellana with Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes Missed Projects

    Nanghihinayang si Carla Abellana na hindi natuloy ang magkahiwalay na pakikipagtrabaho niya sana sa hottest Kapuso loveteam na sina Marian Rivera at Dingdong Dantes.

    Si Marian ay makakasama sana ni Carla sa Regal Films movie na Nieves, pero na-shelve na ang proejct. Si Dingdong naman ay makakatrabaho niya sana sa StarStruck V, pero ang aktor na ang magiging host ng Family Feud kapalit ni Richard Gomez, na kakandidato sa 2010 elections. Si Dennis Trillo na ang kapalit ni Dingdong sa StarStruck V.

    Unang hiningan ng komento ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Carla tungkol kay Marian at sa Metro Manila Film Festival entry sana nilang Nieves.

    “Oo, sobrang nanghinayang ako, kasi I was very much looking forward to that,” sabi niya. “Yung Nieves kasi first movie ko sana, tapos with Marian Rivera pa. Kasi action, fantasy, comedy, tapos pang-filmfest pa.”

    Ano ba dapat ang role niya rito?

    “I was supposed to play the role of Nimfa, the newest member to the group of engkanto slayers. Parang apprentice siya doon of Marian Rivera, si Nieves.”

    May kapalit na ba itong bagong movie offer?

    “Hindi ko pa alam, e. Wala pa namang balita. Hopefully, next year na. Sana sa start of the year, meron nang trabaho for a movie. Para maka-experience naman ako ng movie,” asam niya.

    Sumunod namang hiningan ng pahayag ng PEP ang pagsasama sana nila ni Dingdong sa StarStruck V.

    “Siyempre nanghinayang din ako na hindi ko na makakasama si Dingdong sa StarStruck. Kasi si Dingdong na yung nagsimula ng StarStruck, e. Kumbaga, siya ang may alam sa lahat, e. I’m looking forward sana of learning from him. Titingnan ko lang kung paano niya gawin, matututo na ako, e,” nanghihinayang na sabi ni Carla.

  9. Rosalinda Coming to an End

    Yes folks, if you have been following the story of Carla Abellana’s first tv project, Rosalinda, the tv series is coming to its end. The show will wrap up in a few weeks.

    With Rosalinda entering its final weeks, Carla assures everyone ‘more tear-jerking, kilig and action-packed scenes.’

    Carla is grateful to the viewers for their support, ‘I hope they will continue watching until the end. And please do watch out for my next project,’ she says.

  10. Carla Abellana to host Starstruck 5 With Dingdong Dantes

    From the title looks like Carla Abellana won the billing but it’s actually suppose to be this way: Dingdong Dantes and Carla Abellana to host Starstruck 5!

    Carla Abellana is happy and excited to be the co-host of Dingdong Dantes and Raymond Gutierrez in the next season of Starstruck in GMA-7. This is Carla’s first time to have a hosting job in showbiz.

    “It’s really a good break for me to show I can also do hosting jobs,” she says. “I promised to do my best sa bagong pagtitiwala nilang ito sa akin” Carla said.

    The question now is, what’s Jolina Magdangal has to say with this?
